Avoid high glyceemic index foods
Posted in 2014

We get energy with Glucose..  What ever the food we take will be converted to Glucose which form our body uses to get energy.  Some foods immediately converted into glucose which consumes more insulin...  We should avoid these foods.  These are called High glyceemic index foods.

If you want to increase your fertility, avoid foods that make your blood sugar spike, especially if you're not pairing them with foods that slow down that rise. "Blood sugar spikes can cause inflammation, alter our hormones, and impede ovulation," says Tolbert. Try to choose slow burning carbs, like whole-wheat bread and pasta and brown rice over refined ones when possible, and combine them with protein, fiber, and healthy fats.

My advise
1...  What ever we eat will be converted into glucose.
2..   Our body will use Glucose to get energy

Mercury can damage nervous system
Posted in 2014

Mercury can damage the nervous system, which means that consuming mercury rich seafood like swordfish and bigeye tuna while pregnant could directly harm the fetus, says registered dietitian Kendra Tolbert. (The FDA recently updated its guidelines about safe and unsafe choices) Eating high-mercury fish before you're pregnant could build up stores of mercury in your body, which could also affect the development of the baby's nervous system. "The fetal nervous system is being formed before most woman even know they are pregnant," explains registered dietitian Suzanne Fisher. Mercury may also decrease fertility

My advise
1...  Most of fish varieties contain Mercury which damage nervous system
2...  Avoid these foods before you conceive.
3...  Birth defects like nervous debility is one of the cause of Mercury f…

Avoid artificial ingredients, synthetic hormones to get pregnant
Posted in 2014

A recent study in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics found that many women aren't eating as well as they should be when they're expecting a baby. (Eating right isn't easy, guys.) But if pregnant women are not nailing their diets once they're already pregnant, odds are their diets during the trying-to-conceive time aren't exactly full of greens and lean proteins either. So we wanted to know: What exactly constitutes a healthy diet when you're trying to conceive? Part of it is eating enough fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other foods that are good for you, of course. Another is avoiding artificial ingredients, synthetic hormones, and potential contaminants that could make conception less likely and may be harmful to…

Without Sleep apnea allows adequate Oxygen in your Pregnancy
Posted in 2013

One of the primary similarities between sleep apnea and pregnancy involves fatigue.Pregnancy requires certain physical changes that come with growing new life; often including shortness of breath, due to the baby pressing against the mother’s diaphragm. The dividing line between both conditions determines how much oxygen the baby has access to and the level of restorative sleep the mother is able to achieve. Pregnancy without sleep apnea allows for adequate oxygen to get to the growing baby and provides an opportunity for the mother to benefit from deep sleep. Sleep apnea works against pregnancy in that it places a roadblock for oxygen or sleep to happen. This is because when the mother lies down to go to sleep, gravity paired with facial/airway obstruction make it impos…

Importance of Oxygen in your Pregnancy

The period of time between conception and birth holds tremendous power for the life-time health of the easily influenced growing human. During this 35-40 week pregnancy span an expectant mother must be in optimal health so that she can adequately supply her child with the nutrients needed for healthy development. Sleep apnea is an epidemic and has become increasingly common among pregnant women. The disorder is often characterized by a small airway, flaccid soft-tissue of the throat or underdeveloped anatomy. Oxygen restriction places the intrauterine baby at risk for: growth restriction (IUGR), diabetes or a stillbirthSleep apnea and pregnancy share a few similar symptoms, blurring the line between healthy and unhealthy body changes. Identifying the difference between the two will empower the mother to read her…
