Deficiency of Nutrients decreases Brain & body functioning of your Child
Many pregnant and breast-feeding women are deficient in iodine and should take a daily supplement containing iodide, according to a leading group of pediatricians.
Iodine, generally obtained from iodized salt, produces thyroid hormone, an essential component for normal brain development in the developing baby.
But as consumption of processed foods has increased, so has iodine deficiency because the salt in processed foods is not iodized, according to a policy statement from the American Academy of Pediatrics
Currently, only about 15 percent of pregnant and breast-feeding women take supplements containing iodide, the researchers said. Supplemental iodine is usually in the form of potassium iodide or sodium iodide, according to the …

Try to keep your cool
Sperm develops best in cool surroundings. Men who sit with computers on their laps can have reduced fertility levels. Men should also avoid long, hot baths. One study found that switching to cool showers increases sperm production by five times. Also, swap tight pants for roomier boxer shorts.
Soak up the sunshine
Sunlight boosts fertility in both men and women by increasing levels of Vitamin D. Studies have found Vitamin D increases levels of the female sex hormones progesterone and oestrogen, which regulate periods and make conception more likely. It also boosts sperm count.
Take time to relax
Stress can have a huge impact on female fertility. It can also slow male sperm production and lower libido.
Eat more dairy
Women, who eat one serving of full-fat dairy a day, reduce their risk of infertility by more t…

Energy you need per day
Posted in 2013

Most of us understand that weight management depends upon the energy balance equation; the amount of energy you put into your body (food calories) versus the amount of energy you expend (activity). But how do you know how many calories your body needs to reach or maintain a certain weight? Understanding your body's energy requirements can help guide you when making nutritional choices. I'll show you two ways to determine your energy requirements, the accurate way and the easy way. The Accurate Way
There are three primary components that make up your body's energy expenditure. Adding these three components together, basal metabolic rate, energy expended during physical activity, and the thermic effect of food is the most accurate way of determining how many calories your body requires each day. Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR): Most of the…

Your subconscious mind effect your child

Your subconscious thoughts affect your fetus
Another powerful way parents affect their fetus is through their beliefs. I’ll explain.
Your life is a reflection of your beliefs. These beliefs come from a lifetime of experiences and interactions with other people. Most of these beliefs are subconscious. And they quietly “program” your mind to react to your world. If these beliefs are negative, it programs our minds to be self-defeating. We see it everyday in people who say, “I can’t___”, “I’m not good enough to ___, “I have am so unlucky ___” and so on.
As expectant parents, the negative programming usually comes out in fear:
…“Am I going to make the same mistakes my parents made?”
…“Will my baby be healthy and deliver naturally?”
…“Can I adequately provide for my child?”
Single mothers often have additional negative em…

Father can teach his child before birth

Research shows soon after conception, a level of consciousness exists in the embryo. As the fetus develops, its subconscious stores information to prepare it for its mother’s environment. But, the father’s role in relation to the mother is also important.
By the sixth month, the fetus can hear and move in rhythm to its mother’s voice. Imagine the different influence this has if the mother is happily singing or yelling in anger.
It’s no surprise that sonograms taken while parents yell at each other show the baby’s entire body flinching in agitation. Imagine the damage caused by months of feeding this negative energy to a fetus. Frightening, isn’t it? In fact, studies show a bad relationship between parents increases the child’s risk of psychological and physical damage by a startling 200% or more!
So the parents sho…

Mother's imagination on her child

imagine your growing baby.
Maybe she is one centimeter or maybe ten centimeters.
Visualize what a healthy child looks like.
Sense what a healthy child feels like.
Hear what a healthy child sounds like.
How does his heart pump blood?
How do her arms move?
How are his cells growing?
See your little one smile in the womb.
Hear her laugh, and feel her move in joyful motion.
There is no right or wrong. Let your five-minute daydream flow however a healthy child may be imagined. Science is uncovering how  so much of what was once thought vague in a cloud of ambiguity  is actually very physical and more exact than we are usually taught to believe.  “Every change in the mental emotional state, conscious or unconscious, is accompanied by an appropriate change in the phy…

Research has confirmed that imagery can alter blood flow, grow healthy cells, and destroy cancer cells.Lipton has even offered that a pregnant mother can affect her unborn child’s genetic development. Whether it’s called imagery, visualization, meditation, or hypnosis, decades of research have established this process for generating a multitude of tangible changes in the mental, emotional, and physical body. If you are a pregnant woman, you may try these visual exercises: In a place that is free of interruptions, close your eyes and practice seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling and even tasting your way into a relaxed feeling, perhaps bringing attention towards your developing baby.  The key is to gently feel ease as you flow through this imagery. Imagine as many senses as you can, immersing yourself…
