Anemia and Pregnancy.....4

10..  Will my baby be affected?
A mild iron deficiency shouldn't affect your baby while you're pregnant. But research also suggests that mild iron-deficiency anemia that goes untreated and becomes more severe during pregnancy – especially in the first two trimesters – is linked to an increased risk of a baby being born with a low birth weight.
Having severe iron-deficiency anemia may even increase the risk of  stillbirth and newborn death. I suggest U to fill your body with Iron to develop blood before conceive.
11..  Prepare for Healthy Pregnancy
You can improve your anemia by eating iron-rich foods, such as shrimp, beef, turkey, enriched breakfast cereals, beans, and lentils. Foods that enhance iron absorption are also beneficial to include, such as orange juice, strawberries, broccoli, grapefruit, and peppers.
Avoid consuming too many foods or drinks that prevent your body from absorbing iron properly, such as dairy products, soy products, coffee, and tea. If you do consume these foods or drinks, it may be best to have them an hour before or two hours after an iron-rich meal.
Also, when you take an iron supplement, have it with a small snack. Eating a large amount of food hinders iron absorption.
My advise
1..  Plenty of iron is available in your food such as vegetables, fruits, dry fruits etc..             2..  Take Iron rich foods before conceive...It is advisable to both couple.
3.    Oxygen is needed to carry Blood cells to your entire body and unborn child.  I told U many times that your lungs are designed by the God to take 6000 ml per minute.  This should adjust for your body as well as unborn child's requirements.  You should take care of your food which consumes less oxygen for your digestion so that remaining is useful to child's requirements i.e. to develop his body, brain cells, blood cells etc...
4..  Once you conceive Iron requirements will increase day by day as your child is growing.   5.   Take Iron rich foods till your delivery.   Then you can enjoy with Healthy child.
